Pre-Owned Hot Tubs

Check out the great savings Lifestyles has on demos, floor models, and reconditioned pre-owned hot tubs.  You can also see pre-owned hot tubs in our E-store.  An easy way to find all our listing is to search "hot tub".

Purchase a pre-owned spa that has been certified by factory trained technicians.  Don't take a gamble on a "buyer beware" spa.  The truth is most people who own a spa will never go without.  Nine times out of ten if someone is selling their spa there is a reason.  Usually that reason is something is wrong with it.  Most people will not be honest and tell you what is wrong with it.

When you purchase a certified pre-owned spa from Lifestyles here is what you get.

  • Control panel and circuit board tested
  • All pumps tested to ensure they meet the manufacturer's voltage and amperage ratings
  • Heater tested to ensure it meets the manufacturer's voltage and amperage rating
  • Blower (if equipped) tested to ensure it meets the manufacturer's voltage and amperage rating
  • Circulation pump (if equipped) tested for flow rate, voltage and amperage to ensure it meets manufacturer's rating
  • Spa and heater high limit tested to ensure they are not defective.  This is a very important safety feature.
  • Spa ran for 5 - 7 days to ensure there are no leaks
  • Cabinet cleaned and stained
  • Interior shell and plumbing lines disinfected and sanititzed
  • 30 Day warranty
  • Trained delivery personnel if you choose

When you purchase a used spa from a private owner here is what you get.

  • A spa that has not been tested and certified
  • Hidden (undisclosed) problems
  • Someone else's germs and body oils due to improper sanitation
  • A verbal statement by the seller telling you nothing is wrong, it worked great when I disconnected it.  THIS IS YOUR BIG GAMBLE.  When you get it home and find it doesn't work you just threw $2000 or more out the window because you have no recourse.

Here is the price range for some common components.   Heater between $150 - $300, pumps $250 - $700 and circuit boards $350 - $800.  If you fill it and have plumbing leaking get the checkbook out.  Most leak repairs range from $850 - $2500.
